Diaphragm in Motion
The diaphragm is unloaded in the perforated support cone and the sealing lips lie on the inner surface of the cone and make the return flow impossible.
As the pressure increases in the direction of flow, the membrane deforms and flows through the medium.
If the flow decreases, the diaphragm moves back
to its original position and closes the valve.
