Anti-flood valves for sewage applications

  • Backwater valves
  • Anti-flood valves
Backwater valves from the manufacturer for sewage pipes with anti-odour function and for protection against unwanted penetration of faeces, sewage from the sewer system.

Our anti-flood valves Stop Silent Light

With our Stop Silent Light anti-flood valve you have a reliable back pressure protection for industrial as well as private waste water applications. The back pressure here is up to 0.5 bar. These can be installed in existing inspection shafts and drain pipes by means of a simple force-fit clamping system. Furthermore, our backwater valves can be used as frog flaps to reliably and permanently eliminate the penetration of small animals into your sewage system. Another function of the backwater valve is that of the anti-odor trap. This prevents the escape of sewer gases from the wastewater area into other rooms.

Advantages of our Stop Silent Light anti-flood Valves

  • Check valves for flood protection
  • Check valves to protect against insects and amphibians entering the ducts
  • Non-return valves to stop unpleasant odours from the sewer system
  • Easy and quick installation in sewer pipes

Functionality of the backwater valves

The Stop Silent Light backwater valve applies pressure to the diaphragm by accumulating waste water inside the valve. The sealing lip is opened upwards and releases the waste water flow. If the waste water flow is at a standstill, the backflow valve closes again by lowering the sealing lip downwards. If a backwater then occurs, the rubber membrane is filled and pressed against the pipe wall. This has the advantage that the backflow valve closes airtight.
