Diaphragm check valves up to 16 bar

  • Non-return valves
  • Diaphragm check valves
Diaphragm check valves up to 16 bar especially for cold and hot water, also FDA compliant, oily liquids as well as acids and bases.

Our technical features of diaphragm check valves

The check valves of Lasso Technologie AG are equipped with a diaphragm to prevent the back flow of liquids and gases. When the membrane is closed, only a low noise level is generated and water hammer is avoided. The anti-reflux valve guarantees a reliable closure even with granular liquids (sandy water). In addition, our diaphragm check valves serve as raw filters and thus secure pumps and systems. We guarantee a long product life thanks to the absence of moving mechanical parts subject to wear.

Diaphragm Check Valves - Technical Data

  • Media: water, oils, acids and bases
  • Gas velocity: 15 m/sec
  • Nominal pressure: 16 bar
  • Sizes: from DN 20 to DN 600
  • Heat degrees: -20° to +200°C (no steam)
  • Fluid velocity: 2.5 m/sec.

Hard shell, soft core – Stop Silent is a valve cone out of stainless steel and a high quality rubber diaphragm

Those two main actors do harmonically interact

Stop Silent check valves guarantee the controlled direction of flow and reduce the water hammer effect to a minimum.
The Stop Silent valves consist of two primary components: The valve cone made out of stainless steel and the flexible rubber diaphragm.

The valve cone, which stands out with its extraordinary design, serves as a coarse filter. This filter protects the casing pump as well as the facilities. The gently closing rubber diaphragm persuades through its safe and high sealing characteristics. The valves can bear up to a flood protection strain of 16bar (232.1psi).
Stop Silent valves are distinguished through their light construction technique and their high capacity. In order to guarantee a frictionless service we recommend replacing the rubber diaphragm every five years.

The rubber diaphragm can be replaced easily! Assure yourself and take a look at this short video demonstration.

Installation examples of Stop Silent

The membrane is fixed in a perforated support cone and its sealing lip rests on the inner surface of the cone. As the fluid pressure increases, the membrane deforms and opens the way for it. When the pressure drops, the diaphragm returns to its original shape and closes the conical diaphragm check valve
