Animals such as vermin or frogs that enter drain pipes can become a problem for water quality. With our Stop Silent SL13 flap valve, the penetration of small animals into your sewage system is reliably and permanently eliminated. The simple installation in the industrial as well as in the private waste water sector is quickly installed inside the pipe. Furthermore, this frog flap is a reliable backwater protection for waste water with a backpressure of up to 0.5 bar. The flap valve prevents an unpleasant stench which the waste water produces. Here the waste water pipe is sealed airtight.

Small animals entering tube systems can quickly become an annoying problem. To solve it reliably and permanently, a Stop Silent SL13 check valve can be fixed in the tube.

With the “frog flap” function, it is impossible for small animals to infiltrate the piping systems, which guarantees a perfect water condition.

Due to an accumulation of water up to pipe filling, a pressure is exerted on the membrane, which then opens upwards. When the flow is stopped, the sealing lip closes and the valve closes.

After the new intake was commissioned to supply Bivio, it was noted that amphibians and other vermin could infiltrate the piping from the outside.

In order to solve this problem as quickly as possible, our Stop Silent SL13 backstop protection systems has been installed.
The installation is characterized by quick fixing and friction clamping inside the tube. Within minutes, the valves were installed and ready for use.

Functionality of our flap valves

Our anti-frog shutters also serve as protection against water backflow. The accumulation of waste water exerts pressure on the membrane so that the sealing lip opens upwards. In doing so, the valve releases the waste water flow. If the flow stops, the sealing lip folds down again and closes the nose flap. In order to prevent sewage gases from escaping from the cellars, the valve is always airtight.
