General Terms and Conditions
1. General
The General Terms and Conditions shall apply to all business relations between us (hereinafter referred to as "LASSO" ) and our customers.
The customer waives his own terms and conditions of purchase unless he expressly objects to them in writing and requests special agreements.
Special agreements and supplements shall only be binding if they are confirmed by us in writing.
2. Offers and prices
Although very stable over time, our offers and prices are subject to change without notice by us.
Our conditions are DAP cleared (incoterm 2020 Ex Work)
Being based in Basel, Switzerland, we take care of the customs documents when our parcels are exported. The prices we set are exclusive of VAT. The customs will therefore be likely to claim the amount of the VAT from you.
Transport, packaging and loading costs, customs duties (documents) as well as all additional costs such as inspection fees are included in the price indicated on our offers.

3. Delivery
Unless otherwise agreed, LASSO shall determine the shipping method, shipping route and carrier.
Deliveries are usually delivered throughout Switzerland within 2 days. For exports, one week is to be expected. However, this is without guarantee.
At the customer's request, the goods can be covered by transport insurance; all costs incurred shall be borne by the customer.

- Payment must be made within 30 days of the invoice date.
- Damage reports (transport damage, missing quantities, etc.) must be confirmed in writing immediately upon receipt of the goods according to type and scope.
4. Payment
For Swiss customers, the purchase is made on invoice, payable net within 30 days, unless otherwise agreed. For foreign customers, unless otherwise agreed, delivery is only valid against prepayment.
We are entitled to charge interest on arrears of 5% from the due date.

5. Notification of defects and liability for defects
Under the warranty, LASSO will remedyproduct defects that are due to defects in materials or workmanship. The warranty period is two (2) years from the date of purchase.
- In the event of a complaint, the buyer should contact the dealer from whom the product was purchased within 5 working days of the damage being discovered for warranty claims and information on replacement and repair.
- In the event of any defects, the product will be replaced free of charge against return of the defective goods. LASSO 's liability is limited to the replacement or repair of the defective product.
- Warranty claims can only be made if the product has been used under normal operating conditions and in accordance with LASSO 's recommendations. The warranty does not cover damage or defects to the product caused by external mechanical force from persons, animals or machines. Furthermore, the warranty is not valid if the product has been modified in any way after manufacture or exposed to high concentrations of chemical substances.
6. Return shipment
The return is accepted only when the goods do not have any additional defect to the one mentioned by the customer returning the product.
The return costs are at the customer's expense. For a return due to an incorrect size, Lasso will adapt the costs in case of a return of a larger, therefore more expensive product.
The return of custom-made products or goods specially purchased at the request of the customer is excluded.

7. Retention of title
Our deliveries are made exclusively under reservation of title. Title shall only pass to the customer when he has paid all his debts to us.
8. Place of fulfillment and jurisdiction
The place of order picking is identical to the place of dispatch of the order.
The place of jurisdiction is Basel, Switzerland.
The contractual relationship with our customers is therefore subject to Swiss law.
The application of international agreements, namely the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, is excluded.
