Our backwater automat for waste water applications
Our Stop Silent SL13 backwater automats from Lasso Technik AG were developed for waste water applications. Due to its simple force-locking clamping inside the pipe, the automatic backwater valve can be installed in existing drain pipes or in inspection shafts. This reliable automat with backwater protection is suitable for private as well as industrial waste water applications and is designed with a backpressure of up to 0.5 bar. The automatic backwater valve also functions as a frog flap. This prevents smaller animals from entering your sewage system. Furthermore, the automatic backwater valve prevents odour nuisance from your waste water system.

Functionality of our backwater automats
An accumulation of water in the pipework exert a slight pressure on the non-return valve diaphragm. The wastewater flow is then released by the membrane which opens its sealing lip upwards. If the water flow stops, the sealing lip closes again. In case of backflow, the membrane is filled with water and therefore pressed against the wall of the tube, which prevents the water from flowing up the tube. This function also blocks bad odours thanks to the qualitativ membrane.
