Our Stop Silent SL13 valve adopts a closed position in case of backflow of pipe water. In fact, when water accumulates, pressure is exerted on the membrane and the sealing lip opens upwards. The wastewater flow can flow freely. When the flow stops, the sealing lip is restored and the valve closes again. The valve is designed to withstand a back pressure of up to 0.5 bar. Another function of our check valve is to prevent the intrusion of small animals thanks to its nose valve (anti-frog) function.
