General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
1. General
The general terms and conditions apply to all business relations between our company, Lasso Technik, and the customer.
The customer has to waive his own conditions of purchase, he has to adapt himself to the conditions imposed by the seller Lasso Technik. However, the customer can expressly object to this in writing and request special agreements from the seller Lasso Technik, who will be obliged to either accept or reject them.
Special agreements and supplements only come into effect if they are confirmed by us (Lasso) in writing.
2. Price and offer
Although very stable over time, our offers and prices are subject to change without notice by us.
Our conditions are DAP cleared (incoterm 2020 Ex Work)
Being based in Basel, Switzerland, we take care of the customs documents when our parcels are exported. The prices we set are exclusive of VAT. The customs will therefore be likely to claim the amount of the VAT from you.
Transport, packaging and loading costs, customs duties (documents) as well as all additional costs such as inspection fees are included in the price indicated on our offers.

3. Delivery
Unless otherwise agreed, LASSO determines the type of shipment, the route and the carrier.
Normally, deliveries are made within 2 days throughout Switzerland. For exports, one week is required. However, we cannot guarantee these delivery times at all times due to unforeseeable circumstances.
At the customer's request, the goods can be covered by transport insurance. In this case, all costs incurred are at the customer's expense.

- Payment must be made within 30 days of the invoice date.
- In case of damage upon receipt of the package (transport related, missing products, etc.); the person who received the package must immediately notify the exporter (Lasso), justifying the problem encountered.
4. Payment
For Swiss customers, the purchase is made on invoice, payable net within 30 days, unless otherwise agreed. For foreign customers, unless otherwise agreed, delivery is only valid against prepayment.
We are entitled to charge interest on arrears of 5% from the due date.

5. Fault report
As part of the warranty, LASSO will remedy product defects that are due to defects in materials or workmanship. The warranty period is two (2) years from the date of purchase of the product in question.
- In the event of a complaint, the buyer must contact the seller/reseller from whom he purchased the product within 5 working days of discovering the damage, regarding warranty claims and information on replacement and repair.
- In the event of a defect, a replacement will be made free of charge against return of the goods that are the subject of the complaint. LASSO's liability is limited to the replacement or repair of the defective product.
- Warranty claims can only be made if the product has been used under normal operating conditions and in accordance with LASSO's recommendations. The warranty does not cover damage or defects in the product caused by external mechanical forces from people, animals or machinery. In addition, the warranty is not valid if the product has been modified in any way after manufacture or if it has been exposed to high concentrations of chemicals.
6. Returns
The return is accepted only when the goods do not have any additional defect to the one mentioned by the customer returning the product.
The return costs are at the customer's expense. For a return due to an incorrect size, Lasso will adapt the costs in case of a return of a larger, therefore more expensive product.
The return of custom-made products or goods specially purchased at the request of the customer is excluded.

7. Transfer of ownership
Our deliveries are made exclusively under reservation of title. Title shall only pass to the customer when he has paid all his debts to us.
8. Place of performance and jurisdiction
The place of order picking is identical to the place of dispatch of the order.
The place of jurisdiction is Basel, Switzerland.
The contractual relationship with our customers is therefore subject to Swiss law.
The application of international agreements, namely the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, is excluded.
