The main advantage of this design is that we can adjust the pressure loss according to your specifications. The Stop Silent ASFV foot valve is the ideal solution for preventing suction lines from running empty when the pump is switched off. Thanks to its innovative design, the line remains filled at all times, which enables safe and fast re-priming without venting - saving valuable time and energy when restarting your system.
The cone of the foot valve also acts as a coarse filter and thus protects pumps and systems. The valve can also be used with contaminated water The valve is manufactured from stainless steel 1.4404 as standard. Individual dimensions and the use of stainless steels with a higher alloy are also available on customer request.
During installation, ensure that sufficient distance is maintained to the lowest suction water level to ensure proper suction. The membrane is capable of processing slightly contaminated and sandy media.
The cone is made of stainless steel 1.4404 as standard. Higher-tempered stainless steels are also available on request.

- Irrigation systems: Guarantees an uninterrupted water supply by preventing backflow and optimizing suction.
- Industry & trade: Thanks to the use of various materials such as NBR or Viton, the foot valves are ideal for use in pump systems that draw in liquids such as chemicals or water.
The improved cone generation of AS valves introduced in 2024 have a cross-section that is up to 20% larger thanks to the new hole pattern. As a result, the new generation can further reduce the pressure loss.
